The jump from 3500 lp to 6998 lp is unlikely unless the effective quality of your agent has changed dramatically (or you have trained up relevent connections skills significantly).
Recon being 2500 to 2828lp does not surprise me too much as there is some reward variation between missions even if they are repeated.
Effective agent quality works something like this:
Agent_quality + negotiation + Integer(standing with agent) = effective quality
So with Q -18, negotiation 4 and agent standing of 4.4.
effective quality = -18 + (4 x 5) + 4 = +6
If the agent standing went up to 5.0 then the effective quality becomes +7 which will nudge up your rewards.
That is close enough to be approximately right. So if you standing with your agent has gone up so will your mission reward.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, I know that I could get small reward variations between missions, but in this situation, I clearly marked before going to bed 2550LP, and I didn't do any missions after that to raise my standing, my corp has lower standing towards the NPC corp than my personal one and I didn't train any Social skills to affect it.
It's just a free ~300LP increase that I can't explain.
And yeah, the first one I didn't jot down the exact LP reward prior to going to bed, it was probably 5500LP and the jump might make sense if i'm getting a boost of 375LP or so each day (I logged in earlier than the full 24 hours of the mission sitting in my journal) so it would almost equal the 6998LP, but it was DEFINITELY not in the 6000s when I took it.
I can safely say that it's weird.
I could speculate that the rewards for the missions have automatically adjusted over dt but I'm not aware that it would affect an existing mission.
